Is a Power of Attorney (POA) cause for filing a Bare Trust?  The definition of a POA is a legal document that allows you to ‘act’ on someone’s behalf.  It does not allow the POA to access assets for themselves and be the beneficial owners of those assets.  If you are a POA over someone’s assets, a Bare Trust filing is not required.
